Hello from Seoul, South Korea!

안녕하세요 서울, 한국에서! (Hello from Seoul South Korea!)
Elena, Brittney and I are sitting in the Incheon airport in snowy Seoul, South Korea. It is the morning of January 5th while the rest of the world is spinning in the afternoon of the 4th. The 13 hour flight wasn't as bad as I expected, thanks to Tylenol PM pills. We all slept the majority of 9/13 hours, ate dinner and breakfast and listened to th
e lingual banter of multiple populations of foreigners.

Incheon airport is fantastic. The free wireless cafe is bourgeois and clean by our standards. It is beautiful and a drastic change from grungy under-construction LAX. I love international airports. I can look out the window and see natural snow covered hills only a half mile away from moving planes, watching the morning unfold light all over this airport, the heat from the planes making a weird juxtaposition as it looks like a winter Sahara of hot moving air over snowy landscape of planes and hills.

Tonight we arrive in Bangkok around 10-11pm. After a long long journey of travelling, I am ecstatic to take a shower and sleep in a bed. I am excited for the rude awakening of how large Bangkok is going to be, excited to be a little peeping mouse exploring a new world and new faces.

But mostly, I am excited for a shower.
